The inaugural MoRun, Greenwich Park, London

Setting up in thunder and lightning this was always going to be an event to remember! We braved the conditions and the skies miraculously cleared just in time to allow the first ever MoRun to go ahead. Close to 1000 maiden MoRunners joined us that day and the rest, as they say, is history. Who remembers ’that’ storm?!

MoRunning goes down under

In 2010 we took MoRunning to the southern hemisphere and into Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia. It rained, a lot!! But with over 500 happy Aussie MoRunners it's an event we aim to repeat and take to international pastures new.

Cardiff gets a taste of MoRunning

Cardiff Goes MoRunning Crazy. From 200 runners at its inception in 2010, Cardiff now rocks and tends to be our biggest MoRun location. Cardiff MoRunners - we love you!

MoRunning Goes All Scottish

And so our northern adventures began at Glasgow Green in 2012, soon followed by Edinburgh and then Perth and Aberdeen.   Scottish MoRunning can be super tough but our most northern MoRunners continue to be bold year after year and we wouldn’t be without you! 

MoRunning gets Dirty

Time for some Mud and we for MoRunners to get dirty! Absolutely loved bringing this MoRun to life and enjoyed putting this MoRun on the stunning Swinley Forest.

The Nuns took Manchester by storm

And then there were the nuns! That was fun! Fancy dress efforts and MoGrowth (plus the painted on versions) were taking so many cities by storm. Nothing out of the ordinary here...

Mr Motivator

2016 saw the legendary Mr Mo join us to motivate our Mo Bro’s, Mo Sista’s & Mini Mo’s.  Lycra, leg warmers and laughs.  Mr Motivator we love you!

Mini Mo’s Rock the Mo Tour

In 2017 we introduced our super-popular 1.5K Mini MoRuns. Raising the bar for even more fun & laughs our Mini MoRunners bring the whole family together creating an amazing atmosphere and some amazing scenes. Mini Mo’s keep on coming!

Virtual MoRunning. Now the world can join our MoFa

2018 saw the addition of Virtual MoRunning meaning anyone, anywhere in the world could take part in a MoRun. With over 700 international MoRunners in its first year, from New Zealand, Afghanistan, South America and all over Europe it was incredible to welcome so many people to the MoRunning family!

Our biggest year

24 locations and a virtual worldwide MoRun! What a month of MoRunning. Delivering so many events was not easy but we did it and you made it!

And you raised a load of cash for Movember, over £100,000 through donations and fundraising. Wow, what a year! It was special that's for sure.

It all became virtual

Fix Events, creators of MoRunning, had to turn all events to being virtual. It's all we could do but at least we could share the MoLove across the globe, do our best to keep you motivated and tell our running stories.

Return of live events

It felt great to get MoRunners together again and although we had much fewer locations and participants it was still incredible to bring everyone together again.

Here's to seeing so many more MoRunners back in action in 2022!

It's so good to see so many MoRunners back running with us and it's felt like the good old days! Thank you everyone for being part of this journey and here's to having more locations for you in 2024.
